Mr. Personality

Nathaniel is developing such a little personality ... it's really cute to see this happening. He completely understands how things work, and you can tell when he's pleased with himself.

Moments ago, he saw me getting ready for work. When I went to see what he was up to a few seconds later, he had picked up his shoes and was trying to put them on his feet. When I leaned over to help, he had such a big smile and started to kick his feet a little in excitement.

This isn't the kind of stuff nonparents understand or that I would have understood two years ago, but it's really amazing to me now.

First of all let me start by saying that I'm so happy I found your blog. I guess the format for courierpostonline changed and it take a couple of days to find out where they put you!!! Anyway, potty training at 18 months? For a boy? Wow, I'm surprised that school would even ask. My pediatrician said don't even bother until about 2 1/2....he won't understand before then. But in the same note, we did exactly what you have done. We bought a potty and just had it out. Just in case there were any questions about it ya know! And it is fun to watch them grow isn't it! I especially love when my now 2 yr old sings....how precious! They grow to fast...enjoy!
